How it works
No outlet? No problem.
When the power goes out, the first thing to go is your phone. That's your flashlight, your weather alerts and your only way to reach family.
Pop in 4 AA batteries
Any brand, from your junk drawer or the corner store.
Plug in your phone
Use your regular charging cable in the standard USB port.
Make the calls that matter
An emergency top-up to check in, get alerts and keep the light on.
Why people buy more than one
Emergencies don't wait until you're home.
Keep one where you'll actually need it.

The usual blackout plan
Your car shouldn't be your phone charger.
Most people's backup plan is sitting in the car with the engine running. ReadyCell is the easier one.

Try it risk-freeQuestions, answered
Good to know before you order.
Are batteries included?
No. ReadyCell takes 4 standard AA batteries, alkaline or rechargeable, so you can use the ones you already have or grab a pack anywhere.
I already have a power bank. Why would I need this?
A power bank only helps if you remembered to charge it, and once it's empty you need an outlet to refill it. ReadyCell runs on AA batteries, so you can keep going for as long as an outage lasts by swapping in a fresh set.
Will it work with my phone?
It works with phones that charge over a USB cable. ReadyCell has a standard USB-A port, the classic rectangular one. If your cable is USB-C on both ends, you'll need a USB-A to USB-C cable, which most cars and junk drawers already have.
How much will it charge my phone?
It's built for an emergency top-up: enough to make calls, send texts and check alerts when there's no outlet. It's a backup, not a replacement for a full charge. Fresh batteries give the most power, and you can swap in a new set any time.
How should I store it?
Keep it in a drawer, glovebox or bag with a pack of AAs next to it. Storing the batteries outside the charger until you need them helps them last as long as possible.
Does the light work on its own?
Yes. The built-in LED works as a small flashlight whether or not a phone is plugged in.
How long does shipping take?
Orders ship with tracking. Most arrive within 7 to 14 business days.
Be the one with a charged phone.
The next outage won't give you a warning. ReadyCell is ready before it happens.
